Vehicle Technician Required – South East London

Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join a successful automotive dealership in South East London.

You will be joining a high-performing dealership with a supportive team environment, excellent manufacturer training, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a long-established dealer group.

We are looking for skilled and motivated technicians who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a busy and professional aftersales team.

About the Role

• Location: South East London

• Department: Aftersales

• Salary: Competitive / negotiable depending on experience

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

• No Weekends

• Full UK Driving Licence Required

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards

• Diagnose faults using the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment and systems

• Complete Electronic Vehicle Health Checks

• Identify and report additional work required on customer vehicles

• Work closely with the Service Department to ensure excellent customer communication

• Carry out road tests and vehicle inspections where required

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and efficiency

• Support apprentices and less experienced technicians where appropriate

• Keep up to date with manufacturer training and technical knowledge

Skills & Experience Required

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent

• Full UK driving licence

• Previous dealership or manufacturer experience desirable

• Diagnostic experience desirable

• MOT Tester licence desirable

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
