Job Purpose: To support through the transition of existing systems and testing new web applications for new clients.
a)Participate in the development & execution of test plans & scripts for a number of new clients. Including booking platform integrations, web portal for affiliates and integration
b)Maintain Test execution scripts, documentation & results in the appropriate testing tools in JIRA & Confluence.
c)Responsible for all testing via Applause, including Triaging and updating JIRA.
d)Develop & execute tests effectively, verify & validate defects and monitor progress.
e)Promote continuous testing process improvement.
f)Interact/communicate with applicable personnel and groups.
g)Communicate with developers and explain nature of defect to assist with resolution.
h)Manage defect review meetings to ensure incidents are understood and correctly classified/assigned.
i)Managing defects through to closure by retesting when defects are allocated back.
Analysing test cases created by business users to create new repeatable test cases.
Required Skills and Experience
j)Ideally educated to degree level (IT or Maths, although other degrees will be considered. Those with HNC/D in relevant subjects will also be considered).
k)Good interpersonal skills and customer focus.
l)Attention to detail and methodical approach, ideally at least 7 years' experience.
m)Functional Testing Experience in a professional role, preferably in blue chip or software companies. ISEB certificate in Software testing a distinct advantage.
n)Advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint & Outlook).
o)Based at Head Office based in Middlesex with regular visits to the London office). Willingness to provide out of hours support of company systems e.g. during implementations.
