Job Description
Our client is an expanding financial services organisation that has won many awards for their customer service and excellence. They are currently looking for a Technical Support Administrator with at least 1 years' experience of working in a support role.
Responsibilities will include:
·Maintain adequate level of Anti-Virus protection on Email / Internet pcs
·Monitor and roll out Windows Updates
·Be efficient when dealing with equipment management /repair
·Be the front line user support
·Deal with addition, moves, changes and removal of users and systems
·Maintain equipment / software audit records
·Maintain organised workshop and storage areas
·Provide out of hours support as part of a rota
Required skills and abilities:
·An understanding of backup, restore and archiving strategies
·Detailed knowledge of PC / Server hardware and components, and fault finding techniques
·Windows active directory administration skills and appreciation of Microsoft server configurations
·Good knowledge and awareness of Cyber Security issues
·Word/Excel/Outlook
·Networks TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
·Microsoft Exchange
·Windows 8 Build and Maintain
·Windows 7 Build and maintain
·Windows 7 and Office desktop Support
·McAfee EPO
·MS Exchange Administration
Any experience of the following would also be desirable:
·Hyper-v Server
·MS SharePoint Administration
·Windows 8 & 10
Working Pattern: Shift work between 8am and 6pm on rota basis, out of hours support and possibility of working Saturdays (again on rota basis)
