Job Description

Our client, a market leader in their field, is looking for additional people to work within their busy IT Support / Help Desk department.

You will be reporting to the Service Desk Manager, providing 1st Line Support for all calls in to the service desk.

Duties will include:
·Acting as first point of contact for calls to the service desk
·Fault finding on a wide range of hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, tablets and laser scanners throughout the factory
·Administration of the specialist factory server system
·Participating in the departmental rota to enable the team to provide round-the-clock support, to include early shift and on-call responsibilities periodically.

The idea candidate should have strong Customer Service / IT Support skills and be able to work accurately under pressure with excellent attention to detail.

A previous background in IT Support / Help Desk is desirable, however a proactive, conscientious work attitude is more important as additional training will be given.
