IT Application Manager

Job Description

  • Management and development of two direct reports
  • Day to day running of ERP system with 50 users
  • Development and support of ERP to satisfy demanding business requirements with target to produce detailed Profit Analysis information to allow users to make informative business decisions. Development of CRM and implementation of system upgrades
  • Development of reporting from ERP for Sales, Marketing, Finance and Service domains
  • Daily ERP Support to all users both in UK and in overseas EMEA offices
  • Reporting to IT Senior Manager with autonomy to develop ERP
  • Manage daily HQ reporting
  • Support remote users as required
  • Assist and Support IT team as directed
  • Any other role deemed necessary by Manager or CFO

Candidate Specification

Qualifications

  • Preferably a graduate with relevant qualifications
  • Strong ERP Knowledge, preferably experience of Exel Efacs, Oracle EBS, Microsoft SQL and Reporting Services as well as crystal report writer

Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Preferable to have programming experience in Java, PL/SQL, XML, Python & VB
  • Development experience with Oracle Form / Report Builder and JDeveloper
  • SQL Server Reporting tool experience, preferable data warehousing knowledge of Oracle OTBI/ OBIA / BusinessObjects
  • Good Understanding of Middleware workflow and mapping knowledge of popular documents such as edifact and tradacoms formats, preferable to have EDI / B2B system development experience.
  • Knowledge of Middleware link setup (GXS VAN/SFTP/AS2) and B2B integration tool (webMethods)
  • Knowledge of approval system by roles & process (BPM)
  • Knowledge of different OS (Linux, Unix & Windows)
