Job Description

Our client is an expanding financial services organisation that has won many awards for their customer service and excellence. Due to expansion they are currently looking to recruit an additional .Net Developer to join their busy IT team.

Duties will include:
·Working with Systems Support Manager & Head of Systems Development to agree priorities and time scales
·Working with business teams to interpret requirements for application enhancements as required by the special projects
·Working closely with the Marketing department to define changes to the website & website optimisation
·Working with business teams to analyse existing processes to aid in the development of better systems
·Providing support to the Business Systems analyst
·Preparing progress reports on project works
·Preparing and maintaining documentation of processes associated with the projects
·Developing detailed test plans and ensuring rigorous testing is undertaken
·Providing support for projects during installation and post implementation

Required Technical Skills:
·.NET Development (C#, ASP.NET & MVC)
·SQL Server
·(X) HTML, CSS & JavaScript
·Good understanding of Development Procedures
·Any experience of EPiServer, Visual Basic, SharePoint, Python, jQuery & Ajax would be an advantage

Other Required Skills:
·Solid experience in Systems Analysis (development of specs, flow diagrams, etc)
·Experienced in collection and interpretation of Business requirements
·Experience in high volume transaction systems
·Hands on systems development
·Logical Approach to problem solving
·Solid personal organisational skills
·Effective time management
·Analytical & problem solving
·Collaborative team player
·Demonstrable ability to work on own initiative
·Excellent communication skills
