Our client, an award winning software house is currently recruiting for a System Administrator.
Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of the clients solution in customer environments.
Duties will include:
·New Environment Builds
·Proactive Monitoring, Health Check Reporting and Availability Reporting of Customer Environments
·Maintenance of Customer Connections
·General Server Maintenance (Disk Space, Investigation of Performance Related Issues, Hardware Upgrades etc.)
·Software Releases
·Key Stakeholder in the Change Management Process
·Point of Escalation for Support Issues
Essential Skills:
·2 years' experience working within System Administration
·Experience of performing Software Releases and ability to work well in a multi-disciplined change environment
·Experience of installation and maintenance of servers
·Experience of working with different solutions including hosted environments
·IT and infrastructure experience
·Ability to work well within a team environment
·Ability to understand/explain complex technology and business processes
·Excellent problem-solving skills
·Exceptional analytical skills
Preferred / Desired Skills:
·Experience with Unidata, SQL, XML, Integration, Databases, Windows and Linux
·Previous experience in Customer Support environment
·ERP or CRM business management experience
·Ability to plan effectively and deliver to deadlines
·Team Management/Leadership skills
·Previous experience in Event Management
·Previous experience working within an ITIL structure
