Job Description

Our client, an established organisation based in London, is currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work as part of their IT Team. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will be a key member of the team working on complex business transformation projects that they are undertaking to replace the current systems with MS CRM Dynamics. The transformation projects span across all departments.

You will be working with internal colleagues taking responsibility for understanding their requirements, collecting data, and delivering analysis as well as external Business Partners engaged to support problem resolution. Working alongside the solutions Architects you will need to understand high-level requirements, identifying, evaluating, documenting and recommending options and implementing and or testing if required.

To be successful in this role you should be adaptable and enthusiastic, and have commercial astuteness, with strong people management skills and a readiness to take ownership along with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:
·Working with colleagues and stakeholders to understand, investigate and document business functions, processes, and information flows and data structures, using various methodical and consistent techniques to meet business requirements.
·Preparing strategic recommendations with the ability to articulate clearly to all stakeholders the vision and outcomes
·Defining scope and business priorities for small and large scale projects. Specifying and documenting business requirements as directed, ensuring traceability back to source. Analysing them for adherence to business objectives and for consistency, challenging positively as appropriate.
·Working with colleagues across the business to help them plan their projects. Engaging with stakeholders at all levels to influence and drive delivery of stated outcomes. Unblocking barriers to project success with innovative thinking, and escalating issues where appropriate.
·Producing any necessary documentation, for example acceptance criteria, logging defects and knowledge sharing documentation
·Testing delivered solutions
·Demonstrating/training staff on system changes
·Reporting on progress, issues and risks as required

Essential Skills:
·Good knowledge of business systems in particular CRM products ideally Microsoft Dynamics, (or similar applications and their interface with third party products).
·In depth knowledge of project lifecycle and development methodologies
·Be proficient in identifying the appropriate techniques to elicit requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders and translate this to technical specifications
·Ability to interpret, distil and communicate complex information and data to create relevant documentation and process mapping where required
·Ability to plan and execute test plans including tracking and reporting issues to the relevant team member/external parties
·Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
·Tact and diplomacy and the ability to deal with conflict
·Ability to identify risks and issues
·Strong communication skills both written and verbal
·Strong analytical and problem solving skills
·Ability to work both in a self-motivated way and as part of the wider team

·Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
·Experience using Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project
·Good understanding of data structures
