Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Business Engagement you will be responsible for managing the relationship with customers and business colleagues and will work with the team to ensure customers receive good value for investment in IT operations and IT change.You will also seek opportunities to provide value added services that benefit both the customer and the organization.

Main responsibilities will be to:

·Manage the primary relationship between IT and customers and associated stakeholders

·Become expert in the organisation and customer business context to ensure customers and business colleagues receive good value for investment in IT Service and IT Change

·Maintain a strong, positive relationship with customers and business stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of the business context in which they work

·Champion the demand process for IT Changes on behalf of the designated customer(s)

·Drive innovative, value add solutions for designated customers and business colleagues

·Work with the IT team, particularly the IT management team to ensure the right prioritisation, visibility and quality of work is consistently achieved for all clients

·Represent IT at senior levels within customer and business stakeholder groups

·Ensure customer requirements are accurate, robust and fit for purpose, and agreed by business and IT stakeholders

·Act as the point of escalation for any IT issues for designated customer(s) and associated business stakeholders

Required skills:

·Strong stakeholder management skills

·Excellent communications (written and oral) and presentation skills

·Experience of working in a matrix management environment

·Experience of third party relationship management and development

·Solid IT technical background in areas such as IT support, management of software development, service management or IT project management

·Ability to work at all levels, including the Senior Management team

·Self-motivated, attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure

Desired skills:

·Experience in technology retail, telecoms and/or logistics industry

·Graduate level education

·Experience engaging with external clients
