On a CV you have 2 options:
The first is to put a line saying “References available on request”.
The second is to actually list your referees along with their contact details. These should include the phone number, address and also an email. It is also important to state your relationship with the person for example work colleague; boss or lecturer.
You should have at least 2 referees. One should be work-related and from either your current or last employer. If you are a recent graduate with no work experience then a lecturer or university representative who knows you well will be acceptable. If you completed work experience or an industrial placement or have a part time job then a manager or supervisor from there would be great.
Whether you choose to list your referees or not, it is worth thinking about who you are going to use. Remember to check with them that they are actually willing to provide a reference for you.
