A New Year trend is for many people to start the year off by evaluating their current job and career prospects and deciding if perhaps they are still in the right role. This year, we know of 4 people at Rocket U2 who won't be doing this as they enter 2013 with new roles to celebrate:
Vinnie Smith (LinkedIn Profile)
Vinnie has just been promoted to Managing Director of the U2 Tools Lab. Previously, he has been the leader of the WW U2 Support team, the U2 Tools Product Manager, designed the U2BusinessConnect system. Recently he led projects to improve U2 product delivery effectiveness by designing and instituting best practices. He has extensive experience with our SB/XA product as both a developer and a customer, and is uniquely qualified to serve in this position.
Dan McGrath (LinkedIn Profile)
Dan starts 2013 as Managing Director for the U2 Services Lab. Dan only joined the U2 team back in 2010, and has been the Product Manager for the U2 Servers as well as other U2 products. Prior to joining Rocket, Dan worked for IMB Bank in Australia.
Helen Beylkin (LinkedIn Profile)
Helen will now be Director of Strategic Technology for the U2 business. In this role, she will lead key projects aimed to ensure the U2 products meet the future technology requirements for your organizations.
Jonathan Smith (LinkedIn Profile)
Jonathan has been promoted to take over as UniData Advanced Technical Support (Unidata ATS). Jonathan succeeds Wally Terherne who retired at the end of 2012.
Jonathan was working closely with Wally, and will continue to work closely with the entire U2 Team and the Rocket U2 customers, to make the transition as seamless as possible. Jonathan has very strong technical skills, with valuable real life experience in high availability solutions. Jonathan will bring a different perspective to the role, as he has extensive experience in both UniData and UniVerse. This collective knowledge will be a real asset to the team and the future of UniData.
Prospectus congratulate Vinnie, Helen, Jonathan and Dan on their new roles and wish them well.
Happy 2013.
